Small Furries

Please note we cannot guarantee that a particular animal will be suitable for every adopter. In the best interest of the animal we reserve to right to refuse if the circumstances are not ideal for that animal. If you would like to adopt an animal from the local RSPCA you will need to have a Home Visit. Please contact us on 01723 369804 and leave a message giving your name, address and telephone number clearly so that we can return your call.

Please visit our How to Adopt? page for more information.    To adopt a Small Animal – we ask for a small donation, we do not have set adoption fees.

Suggested advice regarding Syrian Hamsters We seem to be being offered syrian hamsters a lot in recent times and want to remind people to please don’t buy these animals on a whim. They are often very shy and require careful handling and care. Syrian’s are also being brought to us in extremely small cages and we are having to encourage them into bigger cages. If you know someone who has a syrian in a small cage with a tiny wheel, then please encourage them to buy a bigger one – cage and wheel! and to also purchase and use an exercise ball (supervised exercise daily)!
