Tombola at Morrisons, Seamer store

Once again we held one of our tombola stalls at Morrisons store at Seamer on Saturday 14 June 2008. We are extremely grateful to the store to let us do this, and we are always well received and supported by the customers and staff at the store. We raised a fanatastic £364.22 which we will put towards the provision of vital boarding and veterinary treatment for the animals that keep flooding into our care.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped out on the day and to all who contributed.

RSPCA PET ADOPTION WEEK (PAW)
Saturday June 7th - Sunday 15th 2008

If you would like to join TV presenter Kate Humble and give an animal a much-needed new start in life, the RSPCA's Pet Adoption Week 2008 could be your chance.

Many of the animals that come in to our care have had a tough time. By adopting a pet from the RSPCA, not only would you be giving it a new home - you would be giving it a new life - for example, any of the animals in the photos are looking for a new home and life.

PAW supporter, Kate, recently adopted Badger, a crossbreed terrier, from the RSPCA in Newport. Poor Badger was severely underweight when she first arrived at the centre, but after some tender loving care she is looking forward to a happier & healthier life with Ms Humble.

Kate says that she had always wanted to adopt an animal from the RSPCA and give it a second chance - now that she has done it, she is encouraging you to so the same!

Every year the RSPCA re-homes approximately 70,000 animals ranging from tiny mice to large horses - and everything in between. They may have been unwanted pets that have been dumped, victims of cruelty, or have been handed over to the Society by those whose circumstances have changed.

For an information pack about adopting an animal call the dedicated
PAW phone line on 0300 123 8484

Or call us, your local branch - we are ready to take your calls! on 01723 369804
